The David Ogrin Golf Academy is the perfect place for juniors to learn the fundamentals from one of golf’s most highly regarded instructors. This unique practice facility is conveniently located between San Antonio and Austin. Juniors can learn the game in a comfortable setting featuring a driving range, short game area, putting green and bunker practice area. David Ogrin Golf Academy is the perfect place for junior golfers to both learn and sharpen their skills.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).

- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

David Ogrin, PGA – Camp Director
In 1996, David won the Valero Texas Open by beating Jay Haas by one and some guy named Tiger Woods by two shots. (David tells people he beat Tiger so badly he has never come back to San Antonio!) Since leaving the PGA Tour and Champions Tour in 2009, David has focused his attention on teaching golf and coaching players of all ages and skill levels to improve their game and get to the next level. He specializes in teaching beginners how to get started in the great game of golf, coaching high school players to advance their game to a college level, and the short game especially how to be a better putter.
