Home of a truly innovative golf complex, San Pedro in San Antonio is a popular place for junior golfers of all levels.

The David Ogrin Golf Academy is New Braunfels’ place to learn and practice golf.  Teaching young golfers starts with Birdie Basics created by early childhood development expert Kate Tempesta.  Using stories, games, and motion our coaches teach golfers age 3-6 the basics of golf.  From there we move to Operation 36 a comprehensive program to teach golfers to shoot even par for nine holes; 36.  We start BY YARDAGE teaching them from 25 yards, to 50, 100, 150, 200, and to the red tees.  Once a player moves to regular tees the principles of Vision 54 are used to complete the job of raising a competent, competitive golfer.

David Ogrin Golf Academy has two tee lines, four chipping greens, a sand bunker, and a 5000 square foot putting green.  Youth golfers are always welcomed and are the lifeblood of our game.  Sign up today for one of our junior golf programs or individual lessons.

Operation 36 Junior Golf

Operation 36® is organized by a network of golf professionals who believe to grow the game, we need to have a motivating player development roadmap to help introduce and develop skilled golfers. The challenge we set for our players is the score of 36 (par for 9 holes). By working from green to tee-box versus the traditional tee-box to green it lowers the challenge point, and is a motivating way to learn and progress in the sport.
